The Locale Recently Reopened Following a Three-Week Remodel, Warren's Ale House Invites Wheaton In

WHEATON— Warren's Ale House is thrilled to announce the addition of Chef Jon Harootunian as the new leader of its culinary team. An award-winning, self-taught chef with over 40 years of diverse experience, Chef Jon brings an esteemed career and a passion for excellence that will elevate the dining experience at Warren's.


Chef Jon has garnered multiple accolades throughout his distinguished career, including four-star ratings from both the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times. His achievements include winning Best Mac & Cheese at Chicago's Mac & Cheese Fest and receiving the prestigious Chicago Mellini Award for Tuscan Cooking Excellence. He has also been featured on popular local television shows like Chicago’s Best and WGN's Midday.


Having traveled and worked across the globe—from Spain and Turks and Caicos, to Napa and New York, and most recently in Chicago’s Fulton Market District—Chef Jon is skilled in a wide array of culinary styles, including French, Japanese, Italian, Indian, contemporary American, and Spanish cuisines. His innovative approach and global perspective promise to bring exciting new flavors to the menu at Warren’s Ale House.

In addition to a new chef and menu, Warren's Ale House also boasts an all-new look. The locale recently reopened following a three-week remodel, which included updated bathrooms, new wallpaper, an improved layout, enhanced lighting, and an expanded patio space. A beloved fixture in the community for over a decade and now with enhanced renovations, Warren’s aims

to create an inviting atmosphere while serving top-quality gastropub fare and signature beverages to locals and craft beer enthusiasts alike.
