Police Called to the Scene by Husband After Shooting His Wife
WARRENVILLE–A terrible tragedy unfolded in nearby Warrenville on the morning of September 5, 2024, shocking the community. Jaime Neumann, a 47-year-old mother, was found dead in her home on Mulberry Court, a victim of a brutal shooting allegedly at the hands of her husband, Steven Kramer.
The Warrenville Police Department responded to an emergency call just before 11 a.m., where Steven Kramer, 39, met officers at the door, leading them to the devastating scene. Jaime Neumann lay lifeless on the bedroom floor, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds to her face, chest, arms and legs. The tragic discovery was compounded by the presence of the couple’s youngest daughter, who was with Kramer when officers arrived.
