VOLUNTEER OPEN HOUSE | Explore Naper Settlement's Volunteer Opportunities August 30

VOLUNTEER OPEN HOUSE AT NAPER SETTLEMENT INVITES YOU TO EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES

Naper Settlement invites the community to its Volunteer Open House to learn about the museum’s available volunteer opportunities, as well as participate in lawn games, a raffle, and an escape room on August 30 from 6-8 p.m.

Staff will be available to answer questions and help with volunteer registration. Current volunteers will be on campus to share their experiences. Light refreshments will be provided by MISSION BBQ. Guests can also participate in a raffle with prizes donated by WhirlyBall, Sixty Four Wine Bar, Vai’s, LuxeSkin Med Spa, and DuPage Family Chiropractic.

“Our volunteers play a key role in bringing our vital offerings to the Naperville community and beyond,” said Melissa Katchen, senior team leader of organizational resources at Naper Settlement. “We have positions available for most age groups and interests, so this will be a great day to learn more about volunteering at Naper Settlement. We will also be thanking our current volunteers for the great job they do!”

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • History Squad Volunteers (4th-7th grade)

  • History Connectors Volunteers (8th grade to adult)

  • Building Interpreters Volunteers (18 years old or older)

  • Special Events Volunteers, including at Oktoberfest, All Hallows Eve, and Howlin' at the Moon

  • Buildings and Grounds Volunteers

  • Curatorial Volunteers

  • Weed Ladies of the Naperville Heritage Society

The Volunteer Open House is free to attend. For more information about the event, please click here.
