Ms. Marqui finds great restoration of spirit in her gardens and property and wants to share that with the public for their own rejuvenation. “Come and immerse yourself in the transformation of Nature into the rich colors of fall. There is still time to pick a bouquet of flowers with numerous colors of mums, summer blooms and fall foliage,” said Ms. Marqui. For a small donation visitors can pick their own bouquet of flowers to take home, jars and scissors provided.

Something New for the October Opening of Healing Gardens

For your enjoyment, from 11:30am to 12:30pm the Threshold Choir will join us in the gardens! This choir of 5 women will walk quietly through the Healing Gardens singing a-cappella, brief gentle songs of comfort and healing. Many songs contain poetic words, chants, and references to nature. Guests to the gardens can also request a 'song bath' which is being surrounded by a circle of women singing, as prayer, words of comfort and healing in gentle harmony.

The October 13 opening will offer an optional outdoor, gentle Yoga In The Garden class (weather permitting) from 1pm–2pm taught by Felicia Schmid 500E-RYT. Ease stress and tension, relax muscles, increase circulation, or just pamper yourself with a day in beautiful gardens! She is qualified to work with students of all levels. Please bring a mat, bottled water and any other props that bring you comfort. Wear layers and dress for the weather. Your class fee ($20) also offers you admission to enjoy the grounds both before and after class.

Pre-registration is required through Asanas & More Yoga’s Workshops and Events Page at www.asanasyoga.com no later than 1 hour prior to the start of class. Full Payment through Zelle at (630) 269-8696 secures your spot. Please contact Felicia via email asanasyoga@comcast.net or phone/text (630) 269-8696 if you have any questions.
