THE EVENT IS HOSTED FREE OF CHARGE, FINAL CONCERT FOR MUSIC DIRECTOR WHO IS RETIRING
Join on Friday, May 14 for SEASON OF HOPE, an exciting virtual rendition of our annual spring concert by The Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale. The evening's concert will include a combination of virtual choir productions (with singers and instrumentalists contributing from their own homes), featuring both the full Chorale and the group's smaller Ensemble, along with some archived performances from past live concerts.
SOMETHING SPECIAL THIS YEAR
The Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale will be collaborating on a virtual piece with Dr. Keith "Doc" Hampton and his singers from the Chicago Community Chorus! Many of you will remember Doc from the spring concert CELEBRATE! in 2019. You won't want to miss it!
This also marks the final concert for our Music Director, Greg Wheatley, who will be retiring after 24 years of outstanding Chorale leadership. Join us as we bid Greg a very fond farewell and wish his family all the best in their new endeavors!
The event will be hosted free of charge on the Chorale's YouTube channel. You are invited to Subscribe to The Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale channel and sign up for Notifications (the little bell that appears after you Subscribe) to receive helpful reminders before the event begins. And don't forget to invite friends and family to enjoy the concert, too!
