Saturday, December 7, 3-8pm
Free family-friendly holiday celebration featuring a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Depot Museum after the Light Parade, brick oven baking, holiday wagon & trolley rides, blacksmith & ice carving demonstrations, model railroad trains on display, carolers, holiday snacks, crafts, music, and more! This event runs in conjunction with the Lights of Lisle, Lisle Santa Train, and Santa Light Parade.
Sunday, December 8, 11am-4pm
Visit from Santa & his reindeer from 11:30am-3:30pm.
The holiday wagon will collect riders on the Lisle Santa Train and deliver them to the museum campus. Once Upon a Christmas festivities continue including holiday wagon rides, brick oven baking, holiday snacks, blacksmithing, model railroad trains, children's crafts, music, and Christmas tree displays. Santa Train: On Sunday, December 8, enjoy a roundtrip from the Lisle Train Station to the North Pole (Chicago). Select either the 9:45am train or 1:45pm train option when purchasing your tickets. Join Santa, Mrs. Claus, Scrooge, Cinderella, Fiona, Elsa and other costumed characters, including the engineer and conductor. Families sing Christmas carols, receive candy canes and a bell from Santa's reindeer harness. And of course, each child gets to visit with Santa. Before or after the train, visit the Once Upon a Christmas celebration at the Museums of Lisle Station Park, located behind Village Hall, which has free admission and family-friendly activities.
