The 56,000-square-foot home is a symbol of luxury and basketball history. It features a full-size basketball court, putting green, workout room, cigar lounge, and even nine bedrooms with 17 bathrooms. The mansion’s custom “23” gate, inspired by Jordan’s legendary jersey number, remains a favorite photo spot for tourists in Highland Park. Originally listed in 2012 with a price tag of $29 million, the Michael Jordan Mansion saw its asking price drop multiple times over the years before closing at its current sale price.

According to recent interviews, the new buyer recalls hearing about the mansion’s listing years ago and imagining how remarkable it must be to live in such a home. Shortly after acquiring the estate, he wasted no time putting it to use. He hosted a birthday celebration and began making renovations with contractors to enhance the property. While his long-term plans remain unclear, there’s curiosity as to whether he will preserve the iconic “23” or make significant changes to the property’s emblematic features.
