Student and staff safety on every school campus within the community is a top priority for the Aurora Police Department. Maintaining close partnerships with students, staff, and school administration is crucial in order to resolve incidents such as the one encountered at WAHS today.
APD encourages every student, staff member, and parent to feel comfortable communicating when they see something that concerns them, and follow the advice, “If you see something, say something.” Working together, we can make school campuses safe environments for everyone who uses them.
