LOCAL FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHERS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY
DUPAGE / KANE COUNTY – Glancer Magazine is looking to expand our freelance photography team! We're hiring two Feature Photographers – one for DuPage County and one for Kane County. Feature Photographers will photograph businesses and individuals featured in our magazine and on our website.
Ideal Feature Photographers will be creative visual storytellers with a strong interest in the community. They should have some experience photographing for media, including magazine layout and design, using high quality photography equipment and have a complete understanding of photographing subjects for editorial inclusion.
Each Feature Photographer will work closely with our Publishing Director and Feature Writers, following assignments as they are provided, scheduling with individuals, and meeting production deadlines.
This is a freelance 1099 contractor's role, as there will be 2-6 assignments per month based on our editorial needs per issue. We are looking for each Feature Photographer to grow with our team, as these are recurring monthly roles for each county. Event photography is also optional based on the interest of each candidate.
Hours: Freelance based on assignments / 8-12 hours monthly
Location: This position requires working from a remote tech-friendly location.
Compensation: $300.00 - $1,000.00 per month / Per project / Provide hourly rate when applying
