NAPERVILLE | Downtown Naperville Will Be “Flying Into Summer” This Year

Flying Into Summer Downtown Naperville Sculptures

SUMMER SCULPTURE PROGRAM ANNOUNCED FOR DOWNTOWN NAPERVILLE

NAPERVILLE–One of the tell-tale signs that summer is just around the corner is the announcement of the Downtown Naperville summer sculptures!

“We have seen dinosaurs, sailboats, dogs, pickup trucks, and so many other fun and creative sculptures over the years,” says Danielle Tufano, Executive Director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance.

This year’s sculpture theme is Flying Into Summer. As a result, 19 uniquely creative dragonfly benches will be scattered throughout the downtown area!

With the exception of 2020, the Downtown Naperville Alliance has been coordinating the creation and installation of the sculptures to add fun and flair to the downtown central business district since 2012.

Dragonfly benches will be on display from early June through mid-September. The installation date is tentatively scheduled for June 2, weather permitting.

Wander around downtown and enjoy the painted creations! Download a map to easily find all the sponsored sculptures on the Downtown Naperville Alliance website. You can also vote for your favorite Summer Sculpture in July and August on the DNA website!
