LATE AFTERNOON BANK ROBBERY TOOK PLACE AT 5TH THIRD BANK
On January 4th, 2021, at approximately 4:18 pm, Naperville Police Officers were dispatched to a bank robbery in progress at the 5th Third Bank, located at 1311 Ridgeland Avenue, Naperville. Upon arrival, officers encountered the suspect vehicle, a green Dodge Challenger, fleeing the parking lot onto northbound Naperville Road. The suspect vehicle was pursued on eastbound I-88, where it was last seen approaching I-294. Officers lost sight of the vehicle in that area.
The suspects were described as follows:
• Two male, black subjects in their 20’s. Each was wearing facemasks and gloves.
• The driver was available and no one was injured in the robbery.
