ADDING TENTATIVE SEPTEMBER CONCERT WEEKEND
As a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and related state guidelines, Naper Settlement announces the cancellation of its Naper Nights Concert Series originally scheduled for June 19-20, July 17-18, and August 14-15.
The outdoor history museum has tentatively rescheduled Rocks Off (Rollings Stones tribute) and Of Perception (Doors tribute) on September 11 from 6-10 p.m. and Mellencougar (John Cougar Mellencamp tribute) and Cadillac Groove (fresh blues, soul, and rock tribute) on September 12 from 6-10 p.m. with the condition of being in Phase 5 of Governor Pritzker’s five-phase plan by early September. The September concert will have strict safety protocols, including limited capacity, required face masks, and required social distancing protocols. More information on the September concert weekend will be released at a later date.
“Naper Nights has been bringing the community together for more than a decade. We look forward to safely joining our neighbors for two nights of great music, delicious food, and family fun. We are committed to honoring Caroline Martin Mitchell’s intentions in her perpetual charitable trust to use this property to gather her community. While we are saddened by the cancellation of our June, July, and August concerts, we are hopeful that we will be in Phase 5 of Governor Pritzker's plan by early September and we can’t wait to welcome you for a fun-filled weekend,” said Rena Tamayo-Calabrese, Naper Settlement’s president and CEO.
