5D Spectrum Dining Adventure
I had been watching videos of the most incredible dining adventure in Las Vegas when I discovered it was also right here in Chicago; so, I grabbed some friends and headed to the cutest part of Chicago’s South Loop. With the added bonus of underground, validated parking, just steps from the restaurant’s front door, this was the perfect mini get away!
The experience started as soon as we entered - the ambience was immediately engaging as robots rolled past, serving drinks to the Japanese BBQ tables, and we were led to the private space for our dining adventure.
Having never experienced “hot pot”, I was intrigued by the unique table that housed built-in burners and settings. The lights were turned down and the fusion of Asian cuisine and technological innovation began. The restaurant transcended the traditional dining experience by engaging all five of our senses, creating an immersive environment that had us immediately partaking in a multi-dimensional culinary adventure.

The introduction of HD 360-degree projections, thematic soundscapes, and interactive light displays transformed our meal into a spectacular event. This approach not only enhanced the visual appeal but also evoked an emotional connection as the colors took over our tabletop and the walls surrounding us.
We were served the highest quality ingredients, including purebred A5 Wagyu beef flown in from Japan and an abundant selection of fresh seafood and protein, including salmon, yellow tail, red snapper, shrimp, mussels, tartare, ribeye, brisket, shoulder cut, organic chicken, pork, and more! It was an unlimited affair of dipping in a variety of flavored broths and custom sauces throughout the hot pot phenomenon. Having each of us select different broths made the experience even more engaging as the communal dining enhanced the evening.

The 5D spectrum room dynamically shifted with each course served; visuals change alongside the menu, while ambient sounds and music weaved narratives that complemented the dining exploration. I loved the vibrant, colorful flowers that filled the room; while at other moments it felt like we were dining underwater, or in the middle of the jungle. It was spectacular beyond words, so be sure to check out Glancer’s TikTok and Instagram for the full dynamic experience!
