NAPERVILLE–Naperville is the first city in the Midwest to embrace Tuk Tuks as a “last mile ride” mode of transportation. Tuk Tuk Naperville aims to provide an eco-friendly twist on a unique vehicle, adding excitement and fun to getting around town.
Offering many experiences from Pub Crawls to Home Tours, Scavenger Hunts to Holiday Light Tours; we took advantage of traveling on all sides of downtown to hunt down items with provided clues. The Scavenger Hunt destinations are fun, historic, and unexpected all at the same time. Having a general knowledge of Naperville does help!
Andy picked up our group of six directly in front of Hotel Indigo on the Riverwalk. After providing us with a list of clues, he turned on the music, and waited for our direction. As we threw out ideas, Andy was genuinely amused as he listened patiently for us to guide his route to find our next treasure.
As we arrived upon each successful quest, Andy became our personal photographer and provided ample opportunities for us to capture the perfect shot thus documenting the success of each secret destination.
I have yet to determine which was more fun, the antics of the scavenger hunt or just cruising around town in the open air Tuk Tuk on a beautiful night! Perhaps it was the combination of both, that enhanced this delightful adventure!
As we roll into the month of September, this is the perfect activity for Fall and Winter. The Tuk Tuk offers heated seats and acrylic covers for rain and cold - making this a perfect year-round adventure for all ages!
Tuk Tuks are an enjoyable way to explore shopping, restaurants, bars, and historic sites. The ability to create your own tours provides endless ideas for many occasions.
