LOCAL INNOVATOR | It’s a New Day for Jeans and a Cute Top Shop In Wheaton & St. Charles

A “JEAN-IUS” WAY TO WEAR TO SHARE

Because jeans and cute tops remain the dress code of choice to take you just about anywhere anytime, Jeans & a Cute Top Shop continues to make local shopping easy and affordable with two west suburban locations, an e-commerce boutique, and pre-loved options, too!

After making the announcement in social media that the newly-launched Hinsdale location would not be re-opening due to the pandemic, many loyal customers shared words of support and encouragement, along with happiness knowing that the Wheaton and St. Charles shops are now open with the addition of a fun new shopping concept.

For over 10 years, the popular west suburban boutique has offered the latest styles in clothing and accessories. Known as the local “go-to” hot spot for jeans, the shop offers skinny, straight, bootcut, and boyfriends in sizes ranging 0-16; and with personal denim fittings, waist adjustments, and free basic hem alterations, finding the perfect flattering fit at an affordable price has been simple!

A NEW CONCEPT TO LOVE

Always on trend - budget and brand come together again with Jeans and a Cute Top Shop’s newest concept – Cute Cash! Bring in your gently worn, boutique brand items to the Wheaton store, and receive $5 Cute Cash for each item accepted. That cute cash can then be used towards ANY purchase at the St. Charles or Wheaton store. These items are then processed and resold for $10 to $30, displayed in a special area located in the back of the Wheaton shop.

“The concept is that many of us tire of our clothing before they wear out. Or, hate to admit, most of us have items we bought that still have tags on them hanging in our closet. These brand new and gently worn beautiful boutique brand

items are often kept because it just seems a crime to stuff them in plastic bags and drop off at Goodwill – not knowing where they will end up! This added concept offers the perfect solution” shared Jill Card, Founder of Jeans and a Cute Top Shop.

Card, who is a seasoned entreprenuer, was faced with a hard decision during the shutdown, closing her third location in Hinsdale (formerly in Downers Grove), giving her the ability and time needed to focus on the two most frequented shops so JCTS can contiune to thrive.

Now you can wear, share, and care with quality, sustainability, and fashion brought together in one stop shopping!
