NAPERVILLE AUTHOR SHARES ON LIVING A LIFE SHE LOVES AND HER LATEST BOOK
NAPERVILLE–With a doctorate in family studies, former Naperville resident Michelle (Linn) Rusk spent many years speaking and writing about suicide and grief and working with several military family grief studies. Her library of authored books includes several titles on the journeys through loss, grief and healing.
Recently, she has turned her energies in a different direction that reflects more of her passions by creating a lifestyle brand, Chelle Summer, where she makes handbags, clothes and home décor and also blogs about her brand and posts photos of vintage items found at estate sales. “It’s about inspiring the world in the ways that I keep myself inspired,” says Michelle. Along with the lifestyle brand, she is still authoring books but is now in the fiction genre.
Michelle’s latest book, Route 66 Dreams, began as a thought of where our dreams are born and was developed into a story about fourteen-year-old Jana Danielson and her adventures on a 1986 summer family vacation exploring what is left of the old Route 66. Along the way, she engages in new experiences, learns of family secrets, and discovers more about herself and her dreams.
You can find Route 66 Dreams and any of Michelle’s other books on her website www.chellesummer.com or on Amazon.
