KANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE IS INVESTIGATING A LOCAL AREA HOME INVASION
AURORA TOWNSHIP–The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion that occurred on March 23, 2022, at approximately 9:54pm in the 1600 block of Solfisburg Ave., unincorporated Aurora, Illinois.
Kane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call from a resident that stated three Latino men forced their way into the home. The offenders wore masks and were armed with handguns. The offenders unsuccessfully attempted to enter a safe inside the home and stole two guns from the residence before fleeing. The resident was not injured. Some evidence was recovered at the scene.
