Glancer® Magazine is seeking a highly efficient, creative and motivated Advertising Sales Representative to support our business development efforts as we continue to expand our west suburban digital reach via our award-winning, well-branded digital magazine and daily digital platform.

Our program is innovative and built for the local advertiser, offering them a one-stop advertising opportunity with multi-channel inclusions.
If you are the right person for this position, you'll enjoy being part of an independent publishing company that is privately owned and operated. Our team is small, but mighty delivering a monthly community living magazine and daily local news stories to an engaged audience of over 80K– and growing!
In this role, you will focus on categorical and geographical lead generation using your existing local contacts, as well as social media and online prospecting and local cold-calling. You will also receive inbound leads, as this role is backed by a strategy-based marketing team.
The right candidate is excited to take initiative by helping businesses with their local marketing & PR efforts, giving them ideas and guiding them into a package that will help their business SHINE! The right candidate is results-driven and not afraid of a commission-only pay structure, earning 20% of all revenue generated. The ideal candidate should LOVE to work independently and take great pride in their performance.

Requirements:
Experience in all major social media platforms (Linked In, facebook, twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, etc.)
Proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiar with web research tools and navigation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and works independently

Glancer® Magazine Operates M-F 8am-5pm
Location:
This position requires working from a remote tech-friendly location.
Compensation:
20% commission paid on all revenue generated for Glancer Magazine. Media Kit and Package Pricing will be sent to qualified applicants to review earning potential. Annual bonus paid based on goal performance.
