RESIDENTS EXCITED TO PARTICIPATE IN SPECIAL EVENT • JULY 11 • 4pm
Residents are gearing up for Jazz Up Glen Ellyn this year which will be different than the usual event on Main Street. This year, it will be replaced with a LIVE stream that begins at 4pm on Saturday, July 11 on www.jazzupglenellyn.org. How fun is that!
Some things will be familiar - the sounds of live jazz and treats for your picnic basket purchased from Downtown Glen Ellyn. New this year, the community will be honoring Glen Ellyn's Hometown Heroes and the families of the Glen Ellyn United Campaign. Downtown Glen Ellyn businesses have created a very special thank you for residents as they continue to spend their dollars locally during this challenging time.
Fareed Haque, Jazz Up Glen Ellyn's Artistic Director has put tougher an amazing line up of musicians. They will start the night with the Bella Artes School of Music Faculty Band and continue with Radio Free Honduras. Chinchano will join in next and they will close the evening with the Fareed Haque Group. There will even be a special performance from Jill Sanderson, whose vocals will bring a special touch to the event's virtual stage. Plan your picnic!
