HOWLIN' AT THE MOON | A 21+ Event at Naper Settlement in Naperville

Guests will Enjoy the Food Truck Graveyard and BOOze Bar, Along with Unique Halloween-Themed Activities

NAPERVILLE–Experience thrilling performances, activities, and live music from nationally recognized musicians at Naper Settlement’s Howlin’ at the Moon, a Halloween bash for adults (21+), on Oct. 25-26 from 5-10 p.m. Guests will feast their fangs into delicious food and drinks at the Food Truck Graveyard and BOOze Bar, as well as experience one-of-a-kind Halloween-themed activities including spine-chilling art displays and photo experiences, fire dance performances, and more. There will also be a costume contest with the chance to win $500.  


Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, a four-piece musical powerhouse known for their head-turning high-energy psychedelic funk and rock shows, will headline Howlin’ at the Moon on Oct. 25 from 8-10 p.m. Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press will open the night from 5:15-7:15 p.m. with their bone-crushing three-part vocal harmonies, laser-sharp covers, and contagious stage energy. Bluegrass singer-songwriter, mandolinist, and two-time GRAMMY®-nominated artist Sierra Hull will headline on Oct. 26 from 8-10 p.m. Hull is a 6x recipient of IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the Year, the first woman to ever receive this distinction. Allie & The Night Krals will open the show with a passionate mixture of musical styles from 5:15-7:15 p.m.  

 

New this year, the Screams from the Unknown Outdoor Haunt will take visitors on a terrifying journey as they walk through dark corridors of the unknown at an 800-square-foot outdoor haunted experience. The gruesome haunt isn’t for the faint of heart and is filled with surprises around every corner. This experience is not recommended for those who are easily scared. This is an add-on, timed ticketed experience for $5 per person.  

 

HOWLIN' AT THE MOON | A 21+ Event at Naper Settlement in Naperville

A new special section of the event will include a vibrant tribute to Día De Muertos with an immersive cultural exploration of the holiday and Mexican culture. Visitors will behold a breathtaking altar and life-size alebrijes, watch folkloric dance by Ballet Folklorico and performances by Mariachi Aurora, make a Día De Muertos art-print using a tortilla press created by local artist Salvador Jimenez Flores, and more. The DuPage Hispanic Alliance will be on site as a community partner for those looking to learn more about Día De Muertos. The organization will also offer a sugar skull decorating activity.  

 

Naper Settlement will celebrate the community by offering food from local vendors Belgio’s Catering, John's Rib House, Tacos Before Vatos, Grumpy Gaucho, Calogero's Old World Italian Pizza, Molly's Cupcakes, Decadent Flavor, and Guzman y Gomez in the Food Truck Graveyard. A variety of wine, beer, and a tequila seltzer will be available in the BOOze Bar.  

 

Howlin’ at the Moon is for individuals 21 years of age and older. No one under the age of 21 is permitted. IDs will be checked at the entrance. Howlin’ at the Moon tickets support the Naperville Heritage Society’s mission to collect, document, preserve, and support the history of Naperville, Illinois past and present. Tickets are $20 per person.
