THE FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS TEAM IS MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT AGAIN THIS SEASON
GENEVA–For over a decade, physicians and employees at Fox Valley Orthopedics have kicked off the holiday season by giving to local children through the Salvation Army - Aurora and Tri-Cities, Breaking Free, and Beautiful U Ministries. Thirty-four children, ages 1 to 14, will receive gifts from their wish lists.
“We like to participate in this program because so many children benefit,” said Fox Valley Orthopedics Chief Executive Officer Barry Mathews. “Our employees give everything from clothes, winter coats and boots to a gaming console, crafts and toys.”
Throughout the year, Fox Valley Orthopedics participates in several community events, and sponsors local high schools, little leagues, Cals Angels, CASA Kane County, and Tri-City Family Services. Philanthropy and community service are key components to the practice’s mission, with staff choosing which charities to support each year.
Fox Valley Orthopedics (FVO) provides complete outpatient orthopedic care, including sports medicine, spine, total joints, hand and wrist, foot and ankle, and pain management. All FVO surgeons are fellowship-trained, and have received additional training in their specific area of expertise. FVO Ambulatory Surgery Center and in-house imaging also provides cost-effective convenient care, as well as Ortho First, FVO’s immediate care walk-in clinic.
