GRAND OPENING | Jojo’s ShakeBAR Announces Grand Opening in Naperville on February 15, 2022

Paying Homage to the First Milkshakes & Milkshake Multi-Mixer that Originated in Naperville at Prince Castle (Later Named Cock Robin) and was Later Sold to McDonald’s

NAPERVILLE– Jojo’s ShakeBAR is bringing its over-the-top biggie shakes, craft cocktails, and classic diner fare to downtown Naperville on February 15, 2022. As the third location of the popular River North restaurant, Jackson Avenue is excited to welcome Jojo’s next-generation diner after much anticipation.

Jojo’s ShakeBAR is a nostalgic spot inspired by 1980’s and 90’s diners, but with a modern twist. Retro music and old-school movies playing, and same-sider booths make it the perfect spot for a first date, or for the entire family to enjoy. The two-story building features old-time milk bottles, classic arcade games, and iconic celebrities from the final two decades of the 1900s, including Ferris Bueller, the Notorious B.I.G., and Madonna.

“We’re really excited to showcase this amazing new venue. We pulled out all the stops to bring Naperville a one-of-a-kind experience that the community can be proud of,” says Robbie Schloss, Jojo’s Co-Managing Partner. “Naperville has a lot of rich history, especially when it comes to milkshakes, and we’re looking forward to paying tribute to the iconic spots that have

come before us.”

Naperville’s own Prince Castle, which was later renamed Cock Robin, was the original home of the milkshake and milkshake multi-mixer, making the Chicago suburb the perfect spot for Jojo’s ShakeBAR to open its doors. The restaurant plans to pay homage to those who paved the way for them, including murals and drinks named after the famous establishment.

Jojo’s ShakeBAR has been recognized as a light-hearted spot known for its larger-than-life milkshakes, delicious diner menu, craft cocktails, and pointed whiskey selection. The concept invites friends and families to make new memories, while still bringing them back to simpler times of their childhood.

Jojo’s ShakeBAR will be located at 5 Jackson Avenue, and open Sunday - Thursday 11am - 11pm, and Friday and Saturday 11am - 1:30am. Reservations are available on OpenTable, although walk-ins are welcome. For more information, visit www.jojosshakebar.com and follow on Facebook and Instagram @jojosshakebar.
