St. Charles Teen, Jordan Laskowski, Tragically Killed in Spring Break Crash
ST. CHARLES–The entire St. Charles community is mourning the loss of 14-year-old Jordan Laskowski, who tragically died in a car accident while returning home from spring break. The crash occurred on April 4th on northbound I-65 near Lebanon, Indiana, when Jordan, his two sisters, and other family members were traveling back to Illinois.
Jordan was a beloved eighth-grader with a passion for sports, music, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys alongside his father, Scott. He was the eldest sibling, always looking out for his younger sisters, Riley (12) and Gracie (8). While Riley sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized, Gracie, their mother, and grandmother escaped without physical harm but are facing immense emotional hardship.
Friends, family, and community members have come together during this heartbreaking time to support the Laskowski family. A GoFundMe page has been established to help with burial expenses, medical bills, and recovery support. Donations have already exceeded the initial $30,000 goal, with over $31,500 raised from 463 donors. This overwhelming response highlights the immense love and respect for Jordan and his family.
