Vanilla Sugar Bakery, the premier multi-occasion bakery located at 540 Duane Street in Glen Ellyn, founded by sister duo Maggie and Norma Samaan is a “from scratch” bakery that creates a variety of freshly made sweet treats for corporate events, parties, weddings and special occasions, using the owners’ personal recipes.
"The fondest memories were when our father would bake and frost cupcakes for us to bring to school and that started from kindergarten until we went into junior high. That was the moment when cupcakes, cakes and overall baking sparked a passion in the both of us," they shared.
The sister duo specializes in creating unique, standout designs with each of their items, which include signature cakes, designer cupcakes, cookie sets, sweetly stacked cookie sandwiches, gourmet French macaroons and more.
Vanilla Sugar Bakery currently does not offer walk-in orders, but it drops a rotating weekly to-go menu that can be ordered for same-day pickup. The bakery recommends placing custom orders that are not from the to-go menu, one to three weeks in advance and scheduling a pickup time.
