CHICAGO–The Pat Tillman Foundation's annual Tillman Honors gala, held at the Union League Club of Chicago on November 6th, 2024, honored two decades of empowering nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars who exemplify the values Pat stood for: service, scholarship, humble leadership, and impact.
Almost 400 guests attended, including Marie Tillman Shenton, Chair and Co-Founder of the Pat Tillman Foundation; Arizona Cardinals owner and President Michael Bidwill; NFL legends Charles "Peanut" Tillman, Jake Plummer and Aeneas Williams; Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex and 40 Tillman Scholars. Together, they paid tribute to Pat's legacy and helped fundraise for the Tillman Scholar Program, which provides leadership development, career architecture, academic scholarships, and a lifelong community to active-duty service members, veterans, and military spouses.
To honor 20 years, the Pat Tillman Foundation proudly acknowledged those who have helped carry Pat's legacy forward:
· Champion Award | The NFL
· Champion Award | Arizona Cardinals
· Leadership Through Action Award | TEKsystems
· Make Your Mark Award | Action Tank, Tillman-Scholar led organization dedicated to advancing veteran impact.
This unforgettable evening raised over $1M, which will continue to support the Tillman Scholar Program. To date, the Pat Tillman Foundation has raised $37 million, supporting 931 Tillman Scholars at more than 150 universities nationwide, making a significant impact in fields ranging from medicine to law to business.
