OUTDOOR EXHIBITS AVAILABLE ONLY DURING PHASE 4
Brookfield Zoo is offering free admission on select days in October, November and December. So, gather the family and venture outdoors to see some of the animals, including Ahava, a 5-month-old snow leopard cub; Whirl, an Amur tiger; and the majestic bison, that enjoy the cooler temperatures. And, Dinos Everywhere!, featuring 40 animatronic dinosaurs, is only here a few more weeks before going extinct on November 1. Only outdoor animal exhibits are accessible to guests as Brookfield Zoo follows Phase 4 guidelines from the state of Illinois, which specify no buildings may be open and guest capacity must be limited.
In October and November, zoo admission is free on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The following month, free days will be on Mondays and Tuesdays through December 22. Online reservations are required with times available in 20-minute increments between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. All admission and parking tickets must be secured prior to arriving at the zoo, and a parking fee of $15 per vehicle still applies.
