PLANS FOR NEW EVENT OVER THE 4th OF JULY UNDERWAY
Today, Lisle Eyes to the Skies festival organizers released a statement indicating that the group has disbanded and there will no longer be an Eyes to the Skies festival in the future due to lack of community interest. This news comes after organizers were forced to cancel it the past two years due to the pandemic. The social media post that accompanied the below statement on the Eyes to the Skies facebook page read:
"On behalf of the group, we will truly miss this event and the fun we had. Looking back, even the stressful and trying times were fun, full of stories, laughs, lifelong friendships and memories we'll never forget. The effort and outcome of what we gave to the community and our affiliates was certainly worth every minute. This group sure has a lot to be proud of. Thank you all for your support over the years."
