Get Ready for Downtown Aurora to Transform Into a Winter Wonderland
AURORA–Aurora Downtown once again is Santa’s home away from home. Come one, come all, and enjoy over one million lights this Holiday Season as Aurora transforms into a stunning and welcoming winter wonderland. The City of Aurora -- with a little elf help – is living up to its motto as the City of Lights when it comes to this year’s holiday lighting.
Show your spirit and join us for our highly acclaimed Winter Lights Celebration which kicks off the Holiday Season on Friday, November 17 at 6:00 pm with an enchanting yet energic, holiday-enthralling parade followed by the ever-cherished downtown tree-lighting festivities including fireworks, Food Trucks, music, and memory-cherishing time with St. Nick.
Aurora’s downtown business and entertainment district is sure to impress as you stroll along our beautiful streets. Make sure to take in the sights from our historical GAR Memorial Museum with its Santa’s village look-and-feel to the completely authentic and traditional Christkindlmarkt. Don’t forget to try the Hot Cocoa or Glühwein!
Aurora awaits you. Enjoy the beauty of the season and plan your visit today. Our restaurants and retailers are here to welcome you for your holiday enjoyment.
