Diveheart invites the community to an inspiring evening with board member and adaptive sports advocate Bill Bogdan on Saturday, February 8, at 5:30 PM at Rookies Sports Bar and Grill in Geneva, IL.
Bill, a 6-time Chicago Blackhawks Sled Hockey Champion and Diveheart adaptive scuba diver, has overcome incredible challenges to excel both on the ice and under the water. As a passionate advocate for adaptive sports, Bill has dedicated his life to creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities. This is a unique chance to hear his powerful story and learn about Diveheart’s mission to expand adaptive sports accessibility.
Additionally, a hockey sled from the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab will be on display during the event, showcasing the innovative equipment that enables athletes like Bill to participate in sled hockey.
In addition, don’t miss the Chicago Steel Hockey game on February 16 at 3:05 PM, where Diveheart will be the Charity of the Game! Bill will perform the ceremonial puck drop to kick off an exciting game.
