DEATH INVESTIGATION CURRENTLY UNDERWAY AT AURORA POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Aurora Police Department continue to investigate after an adult man was found dead at Phillips Park on Monday evening.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., Aurora Police and the Aurora Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Ray Moses Drive for reports of an unresponsive male. Paramedics attempted to perform CPR, but unfortunately the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives and Evidence Technicians responded to the scene to begin an investigation. Preliminary, detectives found no obvious signs of trauma. The body was turned over to the Kane County Coroner’s Office who will perform an autopsy and determine the exact cause and manner of death.
