As New Album Announced, Pearl Jam Launches a 2024 World Tour Across Nine Continents
Pearl Jam, the iconic rock band, made a monumental announcement on Tuesday by revealing details about their 12th album "Dark Matter," releasing its title track as the lead single, and unveiling dates for a massive world tour set to kick off this summer. The album, produced by Andrew Watt, was crafted over a three-week stint at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California and has been described by vocalist Eddie Vedder, 59, as the band's best work.
Dark Matter will be released on April 19, shortly before Pearl Jam launches a 2024 world tour across nine continents. The tour is set to feature opening acts such as Deep Sea River, Glen Hansard, The Murder Capital, Richard Ashcroft, and Pixies in various locations.
Pearl Jam currently holds the final concert dates for Chicago's Wrigleyfield for summer 2024, with their shows scheduled for August 29 and 31. Tickets for the upcoming tour are available for presale for the band's Ten Club members and will be open for general purchase until February 18.
