FUNDRAISING + FRIENDSHIP | Vicki Morcos Named President and CEO of Dunham Fund Fox Valley Aurora

FUNDRAISING AND FRIENDRAISING

The Dunham Fund is pleased to announce Vicki Morcos has recently been named President and CEO.

“During the six years Vicki has been with the organization, she has demonstrated her passion for connecting with nonprofits and our partners,” said Stewart Beach, Chairman of the Dunham Fund. “We know Vicki will continue to honor John C. Dunham’s vision to make the world — especially the Dunham Fund service area — a more comfortable, safer place for mankind to live and prosper.”

As Partnership Officer, Morcos collaborated with foundations and corporations who have similar missions to leverage resources. Through these partnerships, nonprofits have secured an additional $4 million in funding for programs and projects in the Dunham Fund’s Fox Valley service area.

For the past four years, Morcos has overseen professional development workshops to local nonprofits to foster collaboration between organizations to deepen and leverage their impact within the community. Fundraising and “Friendraising” are critical for nonprofits to continue to provide high quality services.

To that end, a huge focus has been on the annual Fall Workshop Series that helps organizations prepare for GivingTuesday. Through these efforts, local nonprofits raised $460,500 in 2016 and saw donations increase to $814,000 in 2018.

Similarly, with fundraising guidance from the Dunham Fund, Fox Valley nonprofits are poised to raise over a million dollars during the 2019 #ILGive campaign.
