SMALL LOCAL BUSINESS COULD WIN $25,000 WITH YOUR HELP - VOTE TODAY!
AURORA–The UPS Store Small Biz Challenge celebrates small business ownership by inviting entrepreneurs nationwide to compete for the grand prize of $25,000, a feature in Inc. magazine, one-on-one mentoring with a well-known entrepreneur expert and the opportunity to advance to the final round in New York City.
Local Aurora-area semi-finalist, Andie Groff, is the owner of The Chocolate Shoppe, which offers the Kane County suburbs award-winning chocolates throughout the seasons. The Chocolate Shoppe’s products are 100 percent gluten free, while also catering to other allergy needs. Andie was selected out of more than 2,000 other competing small business owners to advance to the semi-finals, and now she needs the Aurora community’s help to garner votes.
Here’s how the competition works. The semi-finalists will get the chance to flex their savvy business skills throughout a series of entrepreneurial-inspired challenges that will be submitted online and judged by a panel including Olympic-gymnast-turned-entrepreneur Nastia Liukin -- and YOU!
Now through Monday, June 12, you can visit Vote now for the 2023 Small Biz Challenge | Inc.com to check out each semi-finalist submission and vote for their favorite once per day.
