CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN WITH COSTUMES, TRICK OR TREATING, SMASHINGLY FUN SCIENCE & MORE
October 17-November 1
CHICAGO–Two weeks of family-friendly science experiences will let you get into the Halloween spirit. MSI's limited capacity, timed-entry tickets and other protocols allow for plenty of space and comfort for a scary good time indoors.
Explore a specially decorated exhibit with peeks at the Museum’s curiosities, take part in physically distanced trick-or-treating, and examine the science of Halloween with pumpkin drops, slime, eyeballs and chilling laboratory sessions.
Wear a Costume Get into the spirit by wearing a costume. Just remember that everyone over age 2 must wear a cloth face covering while inside the Museum. Other costume elements or makeup must not interfere with the protective function of your face covering. Please leave any costume weapons at home.
Tickets and Schedule Boo Fest activities are included in Museum Entry, except where noted online at msichicago.org/boofest. Boo Fest runs from October 17 through November 1, with Thursday, October 29 reserved exclusively for MSI members. The Museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
