FREE HIKES TO BEGIN IN APRIL
GENEVA– Hike with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County to find beautiful wildflowers that show themselves in the spring.
Join a Forest Preserve District naturalist for a walk through the woodlands to find some plants and learn about their habitats and histories. The program, “Wildflowers Galore!” is offered in April and May.
The first program takes place Sunday, April 11, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve (41W600 Hughes Rd., Elburn) and the second program takes place Saturday, May 8, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Camp Tomo Chi-Chi Knolls (40W095 Freeman Rd., Gilberts.)
