SO MANY FUN THINGS TO DO ALL MONTH LONG

Here are 5 featured events that are happening this month throughout Chicago's western suburbs. From a super unique brew festival and an artisan-themed farmer's market to a wine pairing class and glass pumpkins galore– we selected some pretty great events to feature this month. 1. Brew at the Bridge • Oct 9

OSWEGO–Come back to Oswego Brew at Hudson Crossing Park! Let’s catch up on who made masks, who cleaned their closets and basements, who started gardening, who perfected baked bread, hot cocoa bombs, and whipped coffee. Bring your COVID puppies to the Fox River, let’s listen to some great music while trying awesome beer on a sunny afternoon.


2. Artisan Collective 2021 Market • Oct 16

BATAVIA–Visit the Artisan Collective and shop local handmade goods at the Batavia Farmers' Market every third Saturday through October. Artisans will feature hand crafted items such as jewelry, soap, candles, original artwork, woodworks, macrame, vintage finds & more. Located at N. River Street (between Franklin & Spring) Downtown Batavia.



3. Flight School: Candy & Wine Pairing • Oct 23

GLEN ELLYN–No tricks...just a TREAT for you this Halloween season! Join the crew at ko-ze for a candy and wine pairing. This intimate event will walk you through four unique wine + candy pairings. Learn why they make great pairs and order some bottles to take home for your Halloween night 5-6pm | Tickets available online. Located at 484 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn


4. 11th Annual Glass Pumpkin Patch • October 13-17

LISLE–Morton Arboretum’s popular and well-loved Glass Pumpkin Patch returns with handblown glass art this month. Shop and explore a stunning array of glass pumpkins at this year's sale.


5. Experience Farm Life at Primrose Farm

ST. CHARLES–Explore restored farm buildings, visit with farm animals and agricultural interpreters, stroll through 100+ acres of historic and modern rural landscapes and climb up on a vintage tractor near the fruit orchard. Exciting and educational activities await you in the farmyard! Drop-in programs offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, featuring hand-milking a Jersey cow, gathering eggs from the chicken coop, grooming a draft horse or feeding the animals.
