BUSY MOM, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST & VOLUNTEER
SUGAR GROVE–Married for almost 25 years with three children Jessica (23), Jake (20), and Emma (14), Beth works as an Occupational Therapist for C.A.S.E., Cooperative Association for Special Education. Having a career she is passionate about, that also allows her the opportunity to show her kids that you can love what you do every day, has been an added bonus.
“My own mom is someone who inspires me to be the best mom I can be,” Beth says. “She has taught me to be strong and believe in myself.” Beth aspires to continue growing as an individual and hopes to volunteer in Animal Assisted Activities Therapy by visiting schools, nursing homes, etc. with a therapy dog in the near future.
When her kids were younger, she always made sure to take time off of work to volunteer in their classrooms on a regular basis and organize school spirit wear and other fundraisers for the school. Beth was a Girl Scout leader and cheer coach. As a family, they have volunteered for Feed My Starving Children and participate in 5K fundraisers for breast cancer and Special Needs.
Most of all, she loves to offer her services as an OT to friends and family. -Kristen Kucharski
