MEET THE FOUNDER OF BABY BOOT CAMP IN NAPERVILLE
AURORA/NAPERVILLE– Meet the Smith Family; they are a happy, healthy party of five that loves making wellness a part of their everyday. Beth and her family are out in the community each day promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Beth is a mom (Benjamin 7, Brooke 4, Brynn 1), wife, and owner of Baby Boot Camp in Naperville. Baby Boot Camp is an innovative stroller fitness program designed to balance the fitness needs of moms while spending time with their children. Her mission is to empower women to realize their full potential through inspiring health and wellness in their community. She also teaches spin, aqua aerobics, and strength classes for Rush Copley Heathplex and the Eola Community Center.
Aaron is a Senior Enterprise Architect for a leading asset management firm in downtown Chicago. Aaron works long hours, but always finds time to squeeze in 30 minutes of daily activity. In warmer weather, he walks the city streets on his lunch break. Once the cold hits, Aaron takes his walks/runs inside to the treadmill before work.
Their son, Benjamin plays for Fox Valley Lacrosse, True Lacrosse, NFL Flag Football at Players Indoor Sports in Naperville, and baseball through Wheatland Athletic Association. Brooke does ballet, hip hop, and cheer at Storm Dance Alliance in Oswego; and Brynn loves being at Baby Boot Camp during the week. When this family is not out on the field, dance studio, office, or gym they love to get out and explore the Chicagoland area, cooking healthy dinners together, and family game nights.
Aaron and Beth also make date nights active by participating in a couples bowling league at Parkside Lanes in Aurora and running in local races.
The Smith Family has a strong sense that both physical and mental health is very important, and achieves this by taking life one moment at a time. -Kristen Kucharski, Photo by Mike Mantucca
