TriCity Family Services runs an Adopt-a-Family Thanksgiving program and you can help by simply donating all the holiday meal fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. Food should not require refrigeration and should be able to sit for about a week without spoiling. In addition to the Thanksgiving meal fixings, donors often provide other pantry essentials and popular food items for households with children, and other special treats. Baskets can be dropped off at the Agency, located at 1120 Randall Court, Geneva the week of November 13 through November 17.
If you would like to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner without the cooking, head to Claddagh Irish Pub in Geneva on November 22nd. They will be serving up Filet Mignon, Lobster Tail, Shrimp, Roasted Duck, and so much more. -Kristen Kucharski
