THE LAST FLING HELD OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND WITH MAJOR HEADLINERS, FAMILY EVENTS & MORE
NAPERVILLE–The Naperville Jaycees Last Fling is a family-friendly community festival that takes place over Labor Day Weekend along the Riverwalk in Downtown Naperville and, for many, is a fun way to say farewell to summer. This year's Men In Black Pest Control Main Stage on Rotary Hill will feature national acts and the Jackson Avenue Block Party Stage will showcase local and regional bands throughout the weekend.
Last Fling 2018 Main Stage acts include the Pop 2000 Tour hosted by *NSYNC’s Lance Bass featuring O-Town, Aaron Carter, Ryan Cabrera and Tyler Hilton on Friday (8/31). The Loudwire Gen-X Summer Tour is Saturday (9/1) featuring Buckcherry, P.O.D., Lit and Alien Ant Farm. Sunday (9/2) is Cheap Trick and Lucky Boys Confusion!
Family Fun Land will provide a family-friendly atmosphere at Naper Settlement featuring Barefoot Hawaiian (9/1) and a meet and greet with the Medieval Times Queen Dona Maria Isabella (9/2). This year join in as we try to set a new world record for ‘Most People Wearing Paper Crowns’ on (9/2). Family Fun Land will also feature a wax hand molding station, family entertainment, food and much more!
The family friendly Fling Mile takes place on Monday (9/3) before the Naperville Jaycee’s Labor Day Parade kicks off at 10am. Additionally, the carnival will be open all weekend long and patrons with special needs will get exclusive, priority, no-wait seating on Sunday (9/4) from 9am-10am (wristband required).
Proceeds from the Last Fling are given to other nonprofit organizations in the community. www.LastFling.org
