GLANCER MAGAZINE WELCOMES GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT, AMANDA PAVLETIC TO SUMMER INTERN TEAM
This week Glancer Magazine introduces our 2018 Summer Intern Amanda Paveltic of Naperville. Amanda is an incoming senior at Grand Valley State University in Allendale. Michigan, where she is studying Health Communications, hoping to follow her dreams of working in Public Relations/Communications with a health emphasis. We caught up with Amanda earlier this week, excited to learn more about her.
"I play club soccer at Grand Valley and love to be exercising in my rare spare time. I also enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and playing with my dog! Wrigley, my 8-month-old, mini Pomadoodle, is very special to me. Although she is only 4½ pounds, she has a heart bigger than most and can make anyone smile. She loves to go on car rides with me and shares the same passion for traveling as I do. When traveling, I love to go hiking and exploring new places," shared Amanda.
The Naperville resident has joined Glancer Magazine's Editorial Team for the summer. She will be writing a new feature column titled "Dr. Mom" where she will highlight a west suburban area mom who is also a medical physician. Amanda will focus on a day in the life of each Dr. Mom and will share about her medical practice as well.
"All of us at Glancer Magazine are looking forward to working with Amanda this summer. She will learn a great deal about the inner workings of our editorial program, where she will gain experience preparing each feature, coordinating photography, interviewing subjects and working with our deadlines. Glancer Magazine readers are going to love her column– Dr. Mom," said Lindy Kleivo, Publishing Director.
