From Easter Egg Hunts to Breakfast with the Bunny, there are a bunch of super exciting events happening throughout Chicago's western suburbs for you and your family to enjoy. Here's a list of a few of our favorites! Don't forget your camera.
DOWNERS GROVE – FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT, March 23 Caution! This is an egg hunt zone! Grab your flashlights and baskets and head to the McCollum Park ballfields where you'll search for candy stuffed eggs under the moonlight. The hunt starts at 7:45pm shard, so arrive early! Registration deadline is March 20. No registration will be taken on-site. McCollum Park, 6801 Main Street, Downers Grove.
ST. CHARLES – EASTER EGG HUNT, March 24
Ages 9 and under. Parents and children arrive at least 15 minutes early to receive instructions. Meet at River View Miniature Golf Court Yard. Bring your own basket to collect the eggs. Keep children behind all lines and wait for signal to start. Please limit each child to 10 eggs. www.visitstcharles.com
WHEATON – BUSY BUNNY EGG HUNT, March 24, Cosley Zoo, 4pm Enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny, activities, animal visits and after-hours access to the zoo. Egg dashes will be available for children ages 2-10. Preregistration is required. www.cosleyzoo.org/events/
GENEVA – EASTER BUNNY VISITS & PHOTOS, March 24 & 25, March 31
Don’t forget your camera! Follow the bunny trail to Geneva Commons for a springtime visit and photo op. Be on the lookout for the Easter Bunny as he strolls through the Commons with treats for the kiddos. Or visit him in his garden, located near Learning Express Toys. www.shopgenevacommons.com

BATAVIA – EASTER EGG HUNT FOR KIDS, March 24, 10am
FREE Admission! All little bunnies are invited to hop on over for the annual Easter Egg Hunt! Be sure to see the Easter Bunny. Everyone should meet at the pavilion by 9:45 am! Group leaders will divide children into age groups and take them to their separate hunt areas. At 10:00 am the hunt will begin! Don't forget a basket to hold all those goodies. Please carpool. Parking space is limited. In the spirit of the event, participants are asked to please bring a non-perishable food item or paper product to be donated to the Batavia Food Pantry. BATAVIA – DOGGIE EASTER EGG HUNT, March 24, 11am
Let your dog hunt for Easter eggs! Join us at the Bark Park as your dog(s) hunts for Easter eggs filled with doggie treats. All dogs must be leashed during the event! Pre-registration is requested, but BPD will accept registration at the gate to the Bark Park starting at 11am. Registration fee is per dog. There will be pet-friendly vendors on-site from 11am-1pm. AURORA – FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT, March 29, 6:30-8:00pm
Grab your flashlight and get ready to party at Blackberry Farm! Enjoy hayrides, dancing, games and a flashlight egg hunt with prizes! Dinner will be provided! Don't forget your flashlight. NAPERVILLE – HOPPY EASTER AT SAFETY TOWN, March 31, 10-12pm
This fun annual event is hosted by Naperville Junior Woman's Club. You're invited to come on out and enjoy a morning of Easter-inspired fun! Enjoy a photo op with Mr. or Mrs. Easter Bunny; an egg hunt (allergy friendly) – bring your Easter basket; extra treat stations (some stations may contain treats with nuts please ask if visiting them if you have allergies!); egg recycling and prizes; instrument petting zoo; live bunnies & chicks AND MUCH MORE! Admission: $10 per family to benefit Safety Town & a non-perishable food item for Loaves & Fishes food pantry.This is an open house event, no need to register ahead of time.
NAPERVILLE – EASTER EGG HUNT, March 31 In partnership with the Naperville Park District, the Jaycees host an annual Easter Egg Hunt for the community. Over 14,000 eggs are stuffed and distributed over a large area for children to gather. The committee is responsible for getting the eggs, candy and prizes needed for the hunt. They organize the egg stuffing and coordinate the eggs by age group. On the day of the event, the committee and numerous volunteers place the eggs, controls the crowd, and protect the Easter Bunny from the kids! Frontier Park, Naperville, www.naperjaycees.org
LISLE – BREAKFAST WITH THE BUNNY, March 30 & 31 Hop on over to the Ginkgo Restaurant at The Morton Arboretum for tasty springtime buffet featuring a visit from the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will visit with families and deliver an Easter treat for the kids. Adults (13+): $36/member, $41/nonmember; Children (3-12): $22/member, $28/nonmember; Children under 3 are free. Join the Pheasant Run Family Celebration this Easter with an Extravagant Easter Brunch in the St Charles Ballroom. This event sold out in advance last year, so get your reservations in early. Families will enjoy Easter Egg Hunts at 11am and 1pm, a Petting Zoo and Crafts for the kiddos from 10am-2pm, and of course an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
