YOU'VE BEEN GLANCED!
It was an evening filled with laughter and tears at the Q Center in St. Charles as close to 1,000 guests came together to support the fight against pediatric cancer and help families and children fighting the disease.
Human kindness was felt by all as hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised via a raffle, silent and live auction, open donations and more. Festivities included live mural paintings of Frank Sinatra, John Lennon and The Statue of Liberty– each auctioned off for thousands of dollars– dinner, dancing, live music, a premium open bar, and more. The star-studded event was emceed by Fred Brotha of 103.5 KISS-FM.
Cal’s Angel has a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help kids fighting cancer. The St. Charles-based organization is a 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation established in 2007 in memory of Cal Sutter, a 12-year-old who lost his battle with leukemia in 2006. Cal’s kindness and generosity inspired the start of Cal’s Angels. In just over 10 years, the organization has been been able to bring hope and support to thousands of kids with cancer and their families.
