TOP O' THE DAY' TO YA – Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy green beer before noon or a fun event where the kids can get into the St. Patrick's Day spirit, Chicago's western suburbs have many festive activities happening all week long. #TeamGlancer will be out and about Glancing residents of all ages at a few of these events, so be sure to wear green! NAPERVILLE – St. Patrick's Day - Downtown Naperville Parade - 5K and More! Saturday, March 11

St. Paddy’s Day 5K – The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise, in cooperation with West Suburban Irish, is hosting a 5K Race, Run, or Walk at 8am. Participation in this event is a great way to join into the St. Paddy’s Day Spirit. Proceeds from this event will be used to provide health related services to those in need. For further information: http://www.stpaddysday5k.org/ Following the St Paddy’s 5K, stay downtown for the annual West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Day parade at 10am.

Naperville St. Patrick's Day Parade – The 2017 West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Day parade kicks off at 10 a.m. from Naperville North High School, located at 899 N. Mill Street. The parade continues south on Mill Street, east on Jefferson Avenue, south on Main Street and west on Water Street to the Municipal Center. NAPERVILLE – Festive Fun at Quigley's Irish Pub Live Music & Drink Specials All Week Long With a variety of live entertainment scheduled and more, Irish favorite Quigley's located downtown Naperville invites you to celebrate with them all week long. ST. CHARLES – St. Patrick's Day Parade Downtown St. Charles Saturday, March 11 The St. Patrick’s Parade, hosted annually in Downtown St. Charles, has become a family tradition. Thousands of people of all ages line Main Street to watch the antics of cheerful leprechauns, listen to award-winning local marching bands, watch the elaborate and colorful floats glide down the street, pay tribute to the walking units of veterans, hear the melodic strains of the Celtic pipe bands, and see all the best that St. Charles has to offer. The parade steps off at 2:00pm each year at Main and 6th Street. The route continues down Main Street and concludes at 4th Avenue. Please note that the dog costume contest will NOT be taking place this year.
