Now, as the newly appointed Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Elmhurst Art Museum, she is poised to channel her expertise into expanding cultural reach and deepening community connections.
With over 20 years of experience as a curator, educator, and art writer, the Chicago-based leader has an impressive track record of championing inclusivity in the arts. During her tenure at Hyde Park Art Center, she created opportunities for emerging and mid-career artists, spearhead bold new exhibition models, and established the Artists Run Chicago Fund, which has provided over $1 million to artist-led initiatives. Her work consistently emphasizes diversity, justice, and the power of dialogue through art.
