Innovative Interior Designer, Volunteer and So Much More
AURORA–Laura’s journey began with a passion for entrepreneurship, driving her to establish her own business, bringing her innovative ideas to life. Her interior design services weave together the contemporary aesthetics and unique influences from her travels across the country, culminating in a divinely crafted furniture collection featured in Lifestyle Magazine’s 2022 Home & Garden issue. In 2020, Laura launched the non-profit ‘Mattress for Kids’ through Laura’s Furniture, ensuring that no child in the community is without a comfortable bed.
Additionally, as a proud Latina, Laura serves on the Aurora Hispanic Heritage Board with a goal to promote unity through community events and scholarships. She also volunteers at Mutual Ground in Aurora, and carries a personal ambition to establish a foundation of her own for battered women and children, offering housing, resources, and support.
“This dedication is deeply personal, as I am a mother myself and understand the importance of a safe and supportive home. ‘Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable’ by Tim S. Grover is one of my favorite books; it offers powerful insights on resilience and the importance of trusting one’s instincts, which deeply resonate with me.”
Laura savors family time at Aurora’s Christkindlmarket and also maintains an active lifestyle through gym workouts, yoga, and Pilates classes.
