NAPERVILLE–He is ambitious and passionate with an entrepreneurial spirit. He is happily married to his partner Jose Martinez and loves what he does as the owner of Sugar Milk Cafe in Naperville.
”I've always dreamt of owning my own cafe shop that provided something different by combining my creative ideas and my culture to produce delicious coffee, teas, and colorful milkshakes,” Saul shares. “I opened the cafe during the midst of COVID, so there was a lot of uncertainty; but thankfully, the community embraced Sugar Milk Cafe and we've been able to continue to serve the community.”
His family has been his biggest supporter and his pride of his Hispanic heritage and culture shine throughout the cafe. A wall devoted to Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is among the features that Saul displays proudly, along with serving chilaquiles and churros among common staples such as crepes, paninis, French Toast, Latte’s, Cappuccino’s, Chai’s, Matcha, Frappe’s, and over the top decorative Milkshakes.
“I love everything but if I had to pick my favorite item, I would say the Chicken Pesto and the Special Nutella Frappe,” he says.
Saul enjoys supporting Naperville by providing gift certificates to local charities, a 50% discount to local police and fire-fighters, and a 10% military discount.
