#1 | Energy Healing for Kids with Special Needs
NAPERVILLE–Free group energy healing classes for kids with special needs are offered bi-weekly on Saturdays at Radiant Life Holistic Wellness Center. Bring in your child and the practitioner will work with them one on one sharing some of the following modalities: Reiki, Sound Healing, Occupational Therapy, Gentle Massage, Reflexology, Aroma Touch, Essential Oils, Tuning Fork Therapy, etc.
#2 | Gratefulness, Goals, and Guidance Workshop
WHEATON–A workshop at the Tau Center on January 7 will offer a guided process to help people reach their full potential. The session will include gratitude practice, effective goal-setting techniques, and creative methods for orienting oneself on positive possibilities via prayer, reflection, journaling, sharing, and visualization.

ST. CHARLES–Ready for a peaceful afternoon around town? Get ready to sit on the bench swing at Kava Diem Organic River Cafe and enjoy all the delicious and beautiful things life has to offer! Meticulously roasted and brewed coffee, clean-ingredient food, a cozy atmosphere and stunning views of the Fox River make for a healthy and relaxing afternoon.
#4 | Slow Flow Yoga and Sound Healing Class
YORKVILLE–Whether you regularly practice yoga or you are just getting started, here’s the perfect winter afternoon activity. Join the free weekly class open to all on Sundays, 4-5pm at Sense of Samadhi. Experience the 45 minutes slow flow with a 15 minute sound healing session each week.

LISLE–Love to try new things? Discover your wisdom, change your world on January 22 from 2-5pm at Prairie Yoga. Create your own deck of collaged cards with personal meaning to help you to know yourself more fully, express your unique gifts, discover your inner wisdom, and have fun in the community with like-minded people!

#7 | Snow Shoeing
DOWNERS GROVE–Enjoy the great outdoors this winter and rent a pair of snowshoes at Lyman Woods. Enjoy the winter woods while there’s still snow on the trails. Adult and children's snowshoes are available for rent during regular Interpretive Center hours on a first-come, first-served basis. The rental fee for each pair is $6 for a 3-hour rental. #8 | Relax & Restore for Teens
GENEVA–Teens (12-17) seeking to decompress, release tension, and connect can do so the first Sunday of every month from 11a.m. to Noon at the Prana Yoga Center. Students will practice self-awareness, build self-esteem and cultivate inner calm through breathing, light stretching, somatic movements, restorative poses and meditation. Open to all levels and abilities.
#9 | Indoor Farmer’s Market
BATAVIA–The Batavia Indoors Farmers’ Market will be held at 150 First Street on January 21 from 9am. to Noon. Enjoy over 15 different vendors each week offering an assortment of fresh greens, meats, eggs, soaps, baked goods, coffee and tea, and more.
