Glancer Magazine Proudly Sponsors 2009 Networking For A Cause Event
NAPERVILLE, May 29, 2009 - Local community living magazine (monthly distribution 50,000), Glancer Magazine, publisher of The Naperville Glancer and The Wheaton/Glen Ellyn Glancer participates in several community events throughout the year to help support local charities.
On May 28th, Glancer Magazine was one of several local businesses to sponsor Networking for a Cause, a community event held to raise funds for the Naperville Cultural Center, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to end discrimination, preserve cultural heritage, and promote peace through the arts.
“This series of events benefiting The Naperville Cultural Center (Sullivan’s Celebrity Bartender Night and Networking for a Cause) has been both enjoyable and enlightening. I have met so many new faces in the community and am amazed at how many community leaders truly care about organizations such as this and will do what it takes to keep them alive,” said Lindy Kleivo, Glancer Magazine Founding Publisher.
The event was hosted by the Naperville Dental Specialists and Innovative Orthodontic Center and held on the second floor of the Main Street Promenade, 55 S. Main Street, Naperville.
Activities of the night included great raffle give-aways, a live auction, a Small Business Expo featuring Naperville Dental Specialists, Innovative Orthodontic Center, Glancer Magazine, Creating Your Style, Le Frou Frou, American Solutions for Business, Hotel Arista and Tastefully Simple, refreshments, appetizers and live entertainment.
In addition to the events listed above, Glancer Magazine is a proud 2009 participant in events to support, the Naperville Jaycees, the Naperville Area Humane Society, Fashion Week Naperville to benefit several area non profits, Wheaton Rotary Club, Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Walk, This Runs for Jack, Operation Support Our Troops and countless other area fundraisers.
