Naperville Jaycees' Mardi Gras Charity Ball
Great Success for Almost Home Kids
The Naperville Jaycees is pleased to announce that their 10th annual Mardi Gras Charity Ball on Saturday, February 6 was a huge success for Almost Home Kids™. The evening included silent and live auctions, entertainment by The Lady Upstairs band, Cajun food and signature cocktails.
"We were very pleased with this year's event," said Stacy, 2010 Mardi Gras Co-Chair. "We had more than 200 people in attendance and it was a night that provided fun, entertainment and good company for everyone who attended."
Most importantly, the community came together to raise more than $8,000 for Almost Home Kids, whose mission is to enhance the lives of children with serious and ongoing medical challenges.
"This year, we brought everyone back together to help a great cause and we hope we have many more years of success with this event," Mayo said.
AHK is recognized as a multidisciplinary model of excellence for short-term clinical care of children who are medically fragile and who may also be technology-dependent.
